Many adults who reach out to me for ADHD therapy have spent years feeling overwhelmed, internally chaotic or chronically frustrated with themselves. They may sense that they have depth, creativity or potential, but struggle to translate that into a life that feels stable, sustainable or aligned with who they are.

Many also notice the impact of ADHD in their relationships: reacting more intensely than they intended, struggling to communicate their needs, feeling misunderstood or carrying guilt after conflict, shutdown or emotional overwhelm.

I offer ADHD therapy in Barcelona and online, in English and Portuguese, for adults who want to better understand how their mind works, how their patterns affect their relationships and how to build a more sustainable relationship with themselves and their lives.

ADHD Therapy for adults in Barcelona and online

You may recognise yourself in some of these experiences

You know what might help in theory, but struggle to apply it consistently in real life

You start things with energy and intention, but find it hard to follow through

Organisation, routines, planning or daily tasks often take more effort than other people seem to realise

You feel overwhelmed by decisions, responsibilities or the amount of information in your mind

Rest can feel difficult because there is always something you “should” be doing

You are often hard on yourself for not being more consistent, focused or “disciplined”

You move between periods of intense effort, avoidance, shutdown or exhaustion

Practical strategies sometimes stop working when shame, pressure, perfectionism or fear of disappointing others get involved

You may appear capable externally while internally feeling chaotic, overloaded or close to burnout

You have a sense of potential that does not always translate into the life you are trying to build

You want support that takes both your practical difficulties and your inner world seriously

My Approach

ADHD can affect daily life in very practical ways: attention, organisation, routines, follow-through, emotional regulation, rest and relationships. In therapy, we can work with these practical difficulties directly, including how to build structures, strategies and expectations that are more realistic for the way your mind works.

At the same time, many adults with ADHD already know a lot about what might help them in theory. The harder part is often implementation. Shame, overwhelm, perfectionism, fear of disappointing others, difficulty trusting yourself or years of forcing yourself to function in unsuitable ways can all make practical strategies difficult to use consistently.

This is why my work with ADHD is both practical and depth-oriented. We look not only at what might help, but also at what gets in the way, so that the changes you make are more respectful, sustainable and actually possible in your real life.

My approach is not centred around productivity optimisation or forcing you into becoming a more “functional” version of yourself. Together, we look at how your mind works, the patterns you developed over time and the relationship you have built with yourself in response to those experiences.

Therapy is not about becoming a perfect or endlessly productive version of yourself. It is about building a way of living that feels more sustainable, self-aware and aligned with who you are.
