Hey, I’m Sarah.

A therapist with an international background and a deep interest in what helps people feel more at home in themselves. I’ve lived in six different countries and have worked as a therapist in a few of them. These experiences have shaped the way I relate to people and the way I work: with curiosity, flexibility, and an understanding of what it’s like to not quite fit into a single place or identity.

Psychology has been part of my world since I was young — I grew up surrounded by it, drawn to books about the mind, behaviour, and emotion. I followed that interest through formal training, and I’ve now been working as a therapist for over ten years. My path also took me into a PhD in Public Health and eventually brought me to Barcelona, where I continue my practice today.

What drives me in this work is helping people who feel stuck — emotionally, relationally, or in the way they're living — to find clarity and momentum again. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a model that focuses on helping you live more meaningfully, in the here and now. That doesn’t mean avoiding the past — we will explore it when it helps — but the focus is always on supporting you to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

I see therapy as a collaborative space — grounded in trust, honesty, and care. I bring myself to the work fully: not just as a therapist, but as someone who also continues to reflect, learn, and grow. Psychology is my passion and, honestly, my hyperfocus. I’m always deepening my knowledge and looking for ways to support people more effectively.

I work in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, mostly with international clients — people who are navigating transitions, identity questions, healing from difficult experiences or just feeling a bit lost. If that’s you, and you’re looking for a space that feels steady, thoughtful, and human, I’d be glad to hear from you.
