Hey, I’m Sarah.
A therapist with an international background and a deep interest in what helps people feel more at home in themselves.
I’ve lived in six different countries and have worked as a therapist in a few of them. These experiences have shaped the way I relate to people and the way I practise, with curiosity, flexibility and an understanding of what it can feel like not to fit neatly into a single place, culture or identity.
Psychology has been part of my world since I was young. I grew up surrounded by it, drawn to books about the mind, behaviour and emotion. I followed that interest through formal training, and I now have over 12 years of professional training and experience in psychology and therapy. My path also took me into a PhD in Public Health and eventually brought me to Barcelona, where I continue my practice today.
What drives me in this work is helping people who feel stuck, emotionally, relationally or in the way they are living, to find clarity and momentum again. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, or ACT, a model that focuses on helping you live more meaningfully in the here and now. That does not mean avoiding the past. We will explore it when it helps, but the focus is always on supporting you to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
I see therapy as a collaborative space, grounded in trust, honesty and care. I bring myself to the work fully, not just as a therapist, but as someone who also continues to reflect, learn and grow. Psychology is my passion and, honestly, my hyperfocus. I am always deepening my knowledge and looking for ways to support people more effectively.
I work in English, Portuguese and Spanish, mostly with international clients. Many of the people I work with are navigating transitions, ADHD, burnout, perfectionism, identity questions, healing from difficult experiences or simply feeling a bit lost. If that sounds familiar, and you are looking for a space that feels steady, thoughtful and human, I would be glad to hear from you.
